Unit 4 engages students in the study of the origins of the Cold War which developed between the United States and the Soviet Union when they emerged as rival superpowers at the end of World War II and into the post-war era.
This unit also fosters student insight into major focal points of the Cold War and the reforms of the Gorbachev Era which precipitated the collapse of communism in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe

For this Unit the students are working on a booklet (three sections) of questions, notes, etc... They are to use their notes, textbook and this website to help guide them through the following outcomes on the Cold War.
